The "Rova” Project is the result of Attorney David Ganor and his wife Shulamit’s joint vision and labor.
David Ganor, third generation in Israel, is a descendant of the Mizrahi family, one of Tel Aviv’s founding families.
Ganor’s grandparents, Rosa and David Mizrahi, left Jaffa and were listed with the first 100 families to win a lottery for a plot of historic land in Ahuzat Bait in 1909 -which later turned into Tel Aviv.

In 1972, at a time when Jaffa was a neglected town, Ganor, along with his college mate from the Isaac Miron Gymnasium in Herzlia, purchased three acres of land and structures from the French Boust family, who possessed the land since the 20s. Once the land was purchased, Ganor relocated his office from Tel Aviv to Jaffa.
Up until his passing in 1997, he diligently worked on the development of the land and prepared it for The “Rova” Project. For more
