Construction of the “Rova” Project in its current layout began in 2003. As phase 1 neared completion, and in lieu of Tel Aviv’s new municipal mandate to promote Jaffa in general and substantially enhance its infrastructure, restoration and preservation activities, phase 2 construction was also expedited. 157 apartments in eight buildings were completed and occupied by the end of 2007.
Phase 3 construction, which included 102 apartments in 7 buildings, started mid-2008 and is scheduled to conclude these very days. Presently, the “Rova” is the newest and largest neighborhood in northern Jaffa. Besides apartments, it boasts about 2,300 square meters of industrial and recreational spaces, planned to contain fashion outlets, product design stores, art galleries, graphics, and coffee houses, all with the purpose of servicing the project’s residents as well as the many tourists visiting the area.

A marketing campaign promoting “Jaffa on the Roof” has recently been launched. Considered to be the frosting on the cake, “Jaffa on the Roof” includes a dozen rooftop apartments located at the heart of the Jaffa scene, between the picturesque harbor and the vibrant flea market.

These apartments possess a huge balcony in one level, from which one may enjoy a magnificent view extending from the project’s courtyard , through the Tel Aviv coastline, and on to the Jerusalem mountains.
